I have always felt most at home
and connected to my heart
when I am in nature,
or immersed in the creative process.
The beauty of the natural world
nourishes my spirit and feeds my soul.
Inspiration and deeper awakening emerge
when I am:
witnessing a sunrise,
strolling along the beaches,
meandering through the forests,
reading poetry, or listening to music.
Engaging in creative expression and exploration
feels restorative and healing.
The process always takes me out of my head and into my heart.
Opening to whatever comes forward
brings access to
intuitive knowing
and
connection with something greater.
Most of my mosaics are like mixed-media collages.
I enjoy creating unique pieces out of clay
and sculptural material
to include in the overall mosaic.
Incorporating poems, quotes, and affirming words
bring elements of depth and meaning into my pieces.
My studio is a sanctuary for me,
a spiritual playground of sorts,
where I experience discovery,
joy,
aliveness,
expansion,
reverence,
and
immense gratitude for life.
Every piece I create
feels like a journey in itself,
infused with beauty,
heart,
and meaning.
